Aleksei Archer and Alex Guarnaschelli

Aleksei Archer is an accomplished and diverse American actor. Her birthplace is New York. She was born St. Louis and moved quickly into New York City when she was only two days old. In the year 1991, Barnard College awarded her a Bachelor's degree in the field of art history. The same year, she got an entry-level job at a restaurant called An American Place for one year. However, Guarnaschelli's cooking experience began when she watched her mother try out a variety of recipes in her kitchen while making cookbooks. Her culinary experience began when she watched her mother test recipes in her kitchen while editing cookbooks. Guarnaschelli eventually became the head chef of Butter. Guarnaschelli is an Food Network Iron Chef America contestant who competed against Cat Cora for the Farmers Market Battle of 2007 on Iron Chef America. After appearing as a Judge on the Program, in 2011 she participated in the show's fourth season, where she finished third. In addition, she competed in The Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast episode, but lost the competition. Following The Next Iron Chef's fourth season she was named sous-chef under Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In 2008, she was the host of The Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli where she teaches a small group of students instructing them on how transform classic meals.
